Abstract: A novel square microstrip fractal patch antenna in a Sierpinski carpet is proposed for three-band operation. Theoretical analysis of the antenna is made by using the software based on the finite element method, and an actual object is made for experimental measurement. This antenna is an attractive candidate for wireless, satellite and mobile communication application.
