Abstract: Quasi elliptic filer is a novel high performance filter. Due to its complicated prototype and poor efficiency to extract parameter with classic method, its application has been confined. In this paper we combine Genetic Algorithm with Solvopt Algorithm to provide a novel effective and flexible method to extract the prototype circuit parameters of quasi elliptic filter.
