Abstract: In this paper, the characteristics of Fabry Perot resonator is discussed, which is made up of dielectric layer PBG structure in the rectangular waveguide. The effect of the length of PBG reflector and defect cavity and the permittivity of dielectric layer on the resonance characteristics is analyzed in detail. This paper can be an important reference to the manufacturing of this type of resonator.
