Abstract: Microwave hyperthermia theory is presented and the dielectric characteristic and conductivity of woman breast tissue are covered in this paper. We recall the development process of microwave imaging on detecting breast cancer and its advantage on it. At the same time, we point out the possible developing direction of microwave imaging to detect breast cancer and microwave hyperthermia to cure it.
