Abstract: A modified V shaped tapered slot antenna was proposed in this paper. Compared with the V shaped antennas, it suppressed the scattering of the wave traveling along the antennas, and it also has the lower side lobes which is below -10dB level. The paper also analyzed the difference between the linearly tapered slot antennas and the exponentially tapered slot antennas, and emphasis was on the radiation pattern.
