Abstract: The characteristics of microwave nondestructive testing for composite materials and nonmetallic materials are introduced. The methods, principles and equipments of several typical applications are illustrated in detail, such as the measurement of dielectric constant, thickness and moisture of composite materials, the detection of metal and void in dielectric materials. The problems to be solved and development potentials of the technique are pointed out.
