Abstract: The models to describe rough surfaces are given first. The numerical simulations of electromagnetic scattering from rough surfaces and target above are presente d with a tapered incident wave. The numerical scheme is derived from the method of moments, in which the surface current integral equation is discretized to for m a large matrix inverse problem. Scattering simulations of sea surfaces are sho wn at different conditions and the results are compared.
