Abstract: An easy technique to de-embed the S-parameters of an arbitrary microstrip two -port is introduced. The technique is applied to acquire the S-parameters of a n amplifier block, and based on these parameters, a C-band amplifier has been de signed. The measurement of the amplifier matches the simulation.
