Abstract: Thermal-remediation of contaminated soil with microwave energy is an new method to remediate contaminated soils,and now is in bench-scale research.This paper reviewed in brief the present research status of thermal-remediation with microwave energy,discussed its mechanisms and influencing factors,and looked into future of the study for focal.
