PML-FDTD分析光子晶体微带结构激励的新的处理方法

摘要: 对PML-FDTD算法分析微带光子晶体结构的激励源的处理提出了新的方法,该方法不需要产生单向波,只设置平面电流源,省去了磁流源的设置,不用进行场区的划分,所以也无需在激励平面处进行边界连接条件的处理。这种处理方法是以PML吸收边界和透明的激励为基础的,PML边界条件使外行波无反射地经过边界,而透明的电流激励源使散射波透明地通过激励平面。对均匀基底和光子晶体基底的情况作了算法实现,所得结果与理论值符合得很好。这种方法也可以用于分析微带不连续性的问题。Abstract: A novel source formulation is proposed for the analysis of microstrip problem by using PML-FDTD(perfectly matched layer-finite difference time domain) method in this article.Unlike traditional treatment,only an electric current source is set without the corresponding magnetic current source.So there is no need to divide the field zone and set up the boundary connection condition at the excitation plane.This formulation is based on PML absorbing boundary condition and transparent current source.We applied this method to two cases: 1.uniform substrate;2.photonic crystal substrate.Numerical results agree well with theory.This method also can be used to analyze the characteristics of microstrip discontinuities.
