Abstract:
In this paper, frequency selective surfaces(FSS) with random distributed resistive film patch has been proposed, and the effects on composite absorbing material with the FSS have been studied. The occupancy, distribution and surface resistance of the film patches, and their contribution to the reflectivity have been studied experimentally. The results show that the reflectivity in the low frequencies could be improved greatly when the FSS with suitable surface percentage of patch is used. The performance of FSS with asymmetry distribution is better than that with the symmetrical distribution.Meanwhile, surface resistances of the patch also has the impacts on the reflectivity of the composite.
