Design of a Ka -Band Coaxial-Waveguide Transition by Mode-Matching and Synthetic Method

摘要: 用高精度的模式匹配法对矩形波导和同轴线的不连续性进行了理论分析,并结合综合法中的阻抗变换,分析和设计了Ka频段矩形波导-同轴转换器,借助于功能强大的仿真软件AnsoftHFSS对它进行了电磁场仿真分析和实验验证,实验结果表明:在26.5~40GHz内,带内插损不大于1.0dB,驻波比不大于1.2,其性能指标达到国内较高水平,满足工程应用要求,最后通过仿真和实验结果的比较验证了此方法的有效性。Abstract: The discontinuity of rectangular waveguide and coaxial line is theoretical analyzed by use of the mode-matching method with high precision. The Ka-band rectangular waveguide- coaxial transition is designed using synthetic method with impedance transitions as well. Finally, the performance of the method is modeled using electromagnetic field simulation and verified with the Ansoft HFSS software. The result shows that the performance reaches taller inland level and the engineering demand, that is, in the bandwidth between 26.5Ghz and 40GHz, the insertion loss is no more than 1.0dB, VSWR is no more than 1.2. It is known that the method in this paper is effective by comparing simulated result with performance result.
