一种模拟预失真技术的宽带功率放大器的研究

    Research on an Analog Predistortion Technology for Wideband RF Power Amplifier

    • 摘要: 介绍了一种新的应用于WCDMA的射频高线性功放系统,采用模拟预失真技术,预失真信号由肖特基二极管的非线性产生,通过该预失真信号抵消主功放的互调成分(IMD),可以大幅度提高射频功率放大器的线性度。将此预失真器应用于WCDMA16W射频系统中,可以使ACPR改善16dB左右。

       

      Abstract: A new radio frequency linearized power amplifier (LPA) system for wideband-code-division- multiple-access (WCDMA) application is demonstrated. The analog predistortion technology is adopted. The predistortion signal is generated by Schottky Diodes, put the predistortion signal into the main amplifier, the intermodulation-distortion (IMD) components of the main amplifier could be reduced. Such predistortion linearizer exhibits the improvement of 16 dB in the adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR) for WCDMA system when the output power is 16W.
