自校准YTO锁相环路的实现

    Implementation of the Self-calibration YTO PLL

    • 摘要: 为了实现高载波通信,宽带YTO(YIG Tuning Oscillator)微波合成本振已成为方案设计的主要途径。由于YTO自身的磁滞、非线性特性等因素的影响,常规的手动校准预置容易使环路在捕捉的过程中失锁。基于单锁相环路的原理和YIG振荡器的可调谐特性,设计了一种能够自动校准的YTO单锁相环路,避免了因YTO磁滞特性和非线性特性造成的环路失锁,并且缩短了环路捕捉时间;另外,反馈环路中混频环节的引入,减少了环路相位噪声的恶化量。最终测量的校准曲线分析可以表明,在YTO环路的设计中引入自校准功能具有很大的必要性。

       

      Abstract: To implement the high carrier communication, wideband microwave synthesis of the local oscillator has become the main way of design. Due to the influence of the YTO (YIG Tuning Oscillator) hysteresis characteristics and non-linear characteristics, the normal manual calibration may cause the PLL unlock at the process of capturing. Based on the basic principles of single phase-locked loop and the YIG oscillator tunable characteristics, a self-calibration YTO single PLL(phase-locked loop) has been designed, it can not only avoid loop unlock caused by YTO hysteresis characteristics and non-linear characteristics, but also decreases the loop capture time; In addition, the introduction of the feedback loop in the mixer part reduces the amount of loop phase noise deterioration. Analysis for the final measurement of calibration curve shows that the self-calibration function is very necessarily in the YTO PLL design.
