高效率E 类功放在遥测发射机中的应用

摘要: 对提升PCM 发射机工作效率的关键技术进行阐述。采用GaN 器件设计了S 频段具有谐波控制电路的逆E 类功率放大器,输出功率10W,工作效率高达78%。将此高效功率放大技术用于PCM 遥测发射机设计。实测结果表明,该发射机可适应码速率2Mbps 的PCM 信号,发射功率9. 8W,整机效率可达57. 6%。Abstract: Design methodology of high efficiency PCM telemetry transmitter is presented. Practical S band transmis sion line inverse class E power amplifier with series tunable parallel resonant tank using GaN transistor is built. The amplifier circuit is shown to be able to give 10W output power with drain efficiency of 78%. By using this high efficient technique,the telemetry transmitter,which is suitable for 2Mbps PCM signals, obtains an output power 9. 8W with efficiency of 57. 6%.
