Abstract:
In recent years, Angilent ADS software simulation platform has been widely applied. The design of micro-strip low-pass filter based on Richards transformation and Kuroda rule and the design of stepped impedance micro-strip low-pass filter are the two ways which nowadays are commonly used. This paper presents a combination of the above two methods to optimize the design and uses balanced method to optimize to achieve satisfactory performance.In the case of a 5-order Chebyshev low-pass filter,the simulation results show that: the optimial design of micro-strip low-pass filter based on ADS is superior to the traditional design.
