Abstract: Due to the spatial and temporal focusing characteristics and spatial super-resolution focusing characteristics, time-reversed electromagnetic waves can be used to construct some novel electromagnetic systems, such as wireless communication systems with huge capacity and imaging systems with super-resolution. In this paper, progress in the application systems based on time-reversed electromagnetic waves is reviewed and some suggestions for future research are given.
