癌症组织的太赫兹波吸收特性及诊断治疗

    Terahertz Wave Absorption Characteristics and Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer Tissue

    • 摘要: 癌症是由细胞生长失控而引起的一组疾病,全世界年死亡人数超过760 万,由于其病因及病症的复杂性,多样化综合诊断和治疗对遏制或治愈癌症就尤为重要。太赫兹波(T-rays, THz),波长介于30um-l mm(10THz-100GHz)之间,其独特的电磁波特性和新激发光源的发展使得太赫兹发挥对癌症的诊治功效成为可能。本文从太赫兹波特性出发,阐述了太赫兹波用于癌症诊断方面相关技术的发展和安全性问题, 并从热杀伤和非线性共振等生物效应角度揭示太赫兹波在癌症诊断与治疗中的应用前景。

       

      Abstract: Cancer is a set of diseases, claimed the death of over 7. 6 million people each year all over the world. Because of the complexity of the symptoms and the variety of causes ,diversified comprehensive diagnosis and treatment is particularly important to curb or cure cancer. Terahertz radiation (T-rays, THz) accounts for the band between 30um-lmm (10THz-100GHz) of the electromagnetic radiation. Due to the characteristic properties of THz and new development of terahertz source , there has been an increasing interest in the biological applications of THz technologies, especially in the cancer spectroscopic studies and potential therapies. In this paper some up-to-date achievements and developing trends were introduced and the security and challenges issues were revealed, which would help to reveal THz applications in the treatment of cancer from the perspective of the thermal damage and nonlinear resonance biological effect.
