一种紧凑的UHF RFID抗金属标签天线的分析和设计

    Analysis and Design of a Compact UHF RFID Anti-metal Tag Antenna

    • 摘要: 提出了一种可应用于金属环境的超高频射频识别标签天线。通过在圆盘贴片上开槽来实现小型化,天线总尺寸为76 mm′76 mm′3.2 mm。设计的天线采用单层结构的FR4 基板,天线结构简单并不需要过孔及销钉。通过改变槽的尺寸可以有效地调节标签天线的输入阻抗,从而方便地实现与标签芯片的共轭匹配。实验结果表明:实测和仿真结果比较吻合,标签阻抗匹配良好,实测最大读取距离达6.8 m。与其他标签天线相比,该天线具有结构简单、成本低、易于实现和读取距离远等优势。

       

      Abstract: An ultra high frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) tag antenna for metallic objects is presented. By etching slots on the circular patch, the proposed antenna is miniaturized to a total volume of 76 mm′76 mm′3.2 mm. The proposed antenna is printed on FR4 and the structure of the proposed antenna is simple without any via-holes and pins. The input impedance can be adjusted effectively by changing the sizes of the slots, and then the impedance match between the antenna and the tag chip can be tuned conveniently. As an experimental demonstration, the measured curve of the input impedance is basically the same as the simulated and the reading distance can be reached to 6. 8 m. The tag antenna has the advantages of simple structure, low cost, easy of fabrication and long reading distance.
