Abstract:
The high gain, wide band and accurate beam forming performance are the important requirements in active phased antenna arrays. The amplitude and phase distribution, bandwidth and insertion loss of the power divider network directly affect the performance of the phased array antenna. A 1:24 power divider is designed at K band in this paper, which can afford wide band property above 25%. Based on microstrip-waveguide hybrid technology of power distribution network, it suppresses the high frequency cavity resonance, and HFSS software is used for simulation, samples are made for testing. The result shows that this type of power divider network presents performance such as favorable amplitude and phase balance, lower VSWR, small size, compact structure and light weight, so it is able to be applied in airborne, missile and other environments.
