Abstract:
With the rapid development of modern communication technologies and radar or fuze systems, the requirements for miniaturization and high gain of millimeter-wave antennas are increasing. Traditional series and parallel feeds are no longer sufficient to meet people′s needs. Therefore, in this paper, we use a special array structure, double-corner fed series structure for feeding. We design two double-corner fed millimeter wave antennas operating at 24 GHz and 35 GHz. The simulated 24 GHz antenna has a size of 24. 76 mm ×16. 92 mm, a gain of 15. 59 dB and a bandwidth of 0. 4 GHz, the simulated 35 GHz antenna has a size of 17. 06 mm ×11. 22 mm, a gain of 14. 73 dB and a bandwidth of 1 GHz. Then we process and measure the 35GHz antenna, its gain is 14. 2 dB, and its bandwidth is 1 GHz. This paper analyzes the influence of the main parameters and the polarization characteristics of the antenna. Compared with the traditional series parallel feed antenna, the antenna studied in this paper has a special array structure, which is connected only by corner fed lines, does not need a feed network, reduces the feed loss, has small overall size and high gain, so it has some certain promotion significance.Key words:摇millimeter wave antenna, double-corner fed series structure, miniaturization, high gain, polarization characteristics analysis
