Abstract:
The absorber is a periodic structure with lossy characteristics, which can absorb electromagnetic waves,convert electromagnetic energy into heat energy, and reduce the reflected electromagnetic wave energy. With the specialization of application scenarios, the absorber is developing in the direction of particular fields, specific functions, and more pertinence. Due to the increasing demand for anti-electromagnetic interference in various application environments containing optical windows, the optical transparency of absorbers has become a research hotspot. In order to have a systematic understanding of the development status of transparent absorbers, the research status of visible light transparent absorbers in recent years is combed with the context of manufacturing materials, including indium tin oxid (ITO), metal grids, graphene, etc. , and the advantages/ disadvantages and development trends of transparent absorbers prepared with these materials are reviewed, and finally looked forward to the development of transparent absorbers in the future.
