Simulation and Experimental Study on Transient Coupling of Mine Current in Fuel Tank Box Section
-
Abstract
Fuel tank is one of the important parts of aircraft, its safety in lightning environment will directly affect the flight safety, so it is of great significance to carry out lightning test research on aircraft fuel tank. Firstly, the current distribution of the tank section in the form of single loop is simulated, and the data correction method of the induction level of the pipe line in the tank section is proposed. Secondly, the internal and external electromagnetic environment of the fuel tank box section under different loop conductor arrangement is simulated to analyze the influence of different loop conductors on the current distribution. Finally, a lightning test environment was established based on SAE ARP5416, and a coaxial loop tool with typical structure was arranged to carry out a lightning current conduction test in the tank box section. A magnetic field probe was used to measure the surface magnetic field synchronically to verify the validity of the simulation results. The results show that the cage injection device similar to the coaxial line can be used to test the mine electric indirect effect in the tank section. The research can provide basis and support for lightning protection design and verification of aircraft fuel system.
