Research Progress in Mobile Phone Antennas for Direct-to-Satellite Communication

    • With the continuous evolution of communication technologies, satellite communication has become a key component of modern wireless communication systems and an essential communication method for certain modern smartphones. This paper reviews research on mobile phone antennas for direct-to-satellite communication, focusing on the categories of mobile phone antennas capable of enabling such communication. It systematically outlines their theoretical analysis frameworks and design methodologies, while specifically analyzing core design performance metrics. Building upon this foundation, by comparing existing design schemes for direct-to-satellite communication mobile phone antennas, the paper ultimately explores key engineering design techniques for satellite communication antennas from the perspective of practical metal-bezel design.
