    Application of Microwave on Undestructively Detecting Leukemia:The Numerical Simulation

    • Many researchers Proved that it is feasible to detect leukemia or monitor the treatment of leukemia by using microwave. In this paper, calculations of the microwave scattering from the upper part of the lower leg with the presence of leukemia at various frequencies have been given based on the FDTD modeling in the cylindrical coordinate system. The optimal frequency as well as the optimal location of the source and the sensor have also been discussed. The results are helpful in realizing real-time microwave imaging of leukemia.
