An Absorbing Boundary Condition Applied to the Analysis of EM Scattering of Doubly Periodic Structure

Abstract
An approach of FDFD method applied to the computation of microwave absorber characteristics is presented.Incorporating the concept of Floquet's mode absorption to deal with the absorbing boundary condition (ABC),it provides a very useful and practical tool for analyzing 3D electromagnetic scattering of periodic profile.This method adopts compressed memory and least square method to solve the equations with sparse coefficient matrix,and is proved to be accurate and reliable compared with the reported data.
