An Efficient Method for Analyzing CPW with Finite Metallization Thickness and Conductivity

Abstract
This paper analyzes the effective dielectric constants and attenuation constants of a certain CPW structure with finite metallization thickness and finite conductivity by using method of lines combined with a synthetic asymptote impedance boundary conditions.This method is a full-wave method,which is suitable for the case that metallization thickness is of the order of skin depth.The validity and efficiency of this method are demonstrated by the numerical examples.
