Analysis on Shielding Effectiveness of Multi Layer Planar Shields to Normally Incident plane Waves

The formulae for the shielding effectiveness of multi layer planar shields against normally incident uniform plane waves are derived from the electromagnetic field method in detail.In addition,the limiting conditions between the skin depth and the shield thickness is also presented,and then shielding effectiveness for a variety of materials commonly used for computer cabinets is given.
