Abstract

A kind of conical transverse electromagnetic cell is proposed in this paper. The field distribution, field uniformity and the upper operating frequency have been analyzed using FDTD method in the spherical coordinate .The upper operating frequency of the cell can be raised to 4GHz. The results are useful for the design and application of new TEM cell.
