Investigation of Field Distribution in the Triple-TEM Cell

Abstract
The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is applied to analyze 3-D distribution of electromagnetic field in triple-TEM cell. The calculation simulates the propagation of waves in the cell, and provides the field uniformity in both cross-section and coaxial direction in different conditions. The calculated result has been compared with our measurement data, and we got a conclusion that the grounding of inner board has important impact on the field distribution.
