Realization of a RF Analog Predistortion Amplifier

Predistortion linearization technology is conceptually the simplest form of linearization for an RF power am- plifier.This paper develops a RF analog predistorter by utilizing the gate-voltage controlled variable resistance characteristic of FET when it biased in a variable resistance zone.The predistorter also offers certain gain while linearizes the amplifier.In order to verify the validity of the circuit,a two-tone test and a W-CDMA signal test are performed.And it shows about 9dB and 5dB improvement of IMD3 and adjacent channel power ratio(ACPR)respectively.
