Receive Techniques of Nonlinear Active Antenna Array

Nonlinear receive beam-forming using injection coupled oscillator array can suppress sidelobe,but the receive beam can＇t be steered.A new concept of using coupled oscillators array to provide local oscillators signal for beam-forming is demonstrated.After mixing each local oscillator signal with a corresponding signal received by an element in the antenna array,the resulting intermediate frequency signals are combined representing the receive beam shape.The receive beam is steered through detuning free-running frequencies of boundary elements.The experiment results show this technique can be used to construct the receiving system of non-linear active antenna array
