    Design of Double Antipodal Ridge Waveguides byFinite Element Method

    • The transmission characteristics of double antipodal ridge waveguides are analyzed by finite element method. Thedomain mode bandwidth for different ridge cross sections of double antipodal ridge waveguides is analyzed by coding. The law ofcutoff wavelength of dominant mode and single-mode bandwidth are compared in different ridge dimensions and different spacebetween ridges. We also analyze the influence of mesh divide to the precision of numerical results. These provide reference to thedesign and research of double antipodal ridge waveguides.
