Abstract
The active broadband matching circuit is studied in this paper according to the property of nonFoster circuits negative impedance transformation. Analysis of the circuit is conducted with the application of transistor in NIC design, and in combination of the transmission matrix. The negative reactance converter is achieved within 10~100MHz frequency range by simulation and experiment. It shows a 90% efficient within 20~60MHz frequency. The experiment result is generally consistent with the simulation result and verifies NIC′s feasibility and validity. Network with such structural design could be applied to the broadband matching for electrically small antennas, thus to enhance the bandwidth and radiation.
