    Simulation Studies on Electromagnetic Scattering Characteristics of the Edge Serrated Plate

    • The electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the sawteeth on the edge of the plate are analyzed and studied by Method of Momen(t MoM)in this paper. And the influence of different types and arrangements of the sawteeth on the scattering characteristics of the plate have been studied. The structures and parameters of the sawteeth on the mental plate are designed and optimized, such as height, serrate angle, number and width. Furthermore, the RCS simulated results of the optimized serrated and the conventional plates are compared. These results demonstrate that the broadside monostatic RCS is reduced effectively by appropriately adjusting the sawteeth structures, and the scattering characteristics are improved greatly.
