Abstract
The aim of radar signal processing is to track target angle. Servo systems drive and modify the direction of antenna according to angle errors which play a key role in tracking velocity. In this paper, a method based on coordinate plane rotation is presented. With the allowable error range, the sign bit and new vectors can be given by means of multi-time coordinate rotation. The entire amplitude comparison and angle measurement only occupy 105 ns to calculate the angle error with 200 MHz work frequency. Compared with the algorithm for modular operation, the findings show that the power dissipation and area cost with the proposed method can be decreased by 62% and 27.5% in the process of SMIC 0. 13 μm CMOS, respectively. As a result, the validity of this method is verified with better performance.
