As the terrorist activities becoming rampant in the recent years, security inspection in airports, railway stations draws much attention. In this paper, firstly, the up to date research progresses of the active millimeter wave human body imaging are addressed, followed by the introduction of the key techniques of C-SAR imaging. Perspectives and proposals of the further active millimeter wave imaging systems are also given at the end of the paper.
