    Solving Target Monostatic RCS with Hybrid Method of CS and HFSS

    • The traditional algorithms have computationally intensive disadvantage to handle electromagnetic scattering of multi-angle incident target. In order to resolve problems of this kind,a new excitation source is constructed based on compressive sensing (CS) theory, in which much incident angle information is included. The new excitation source in conjunction with the Ansys HFSS is introduced to construct a new fast computational method to calculate monostatic radar cross section (RCS). The numerical results conducted on the scattering from perfectly conducting cube and microstrip array antenna demonstrate that the new algorithm improves the computational efficiency ,and it is more fit for handle complex target problem of monostatic RCS than traditional algorithm.
