Abstract
Method of moments is applied in line-surface antenna's modeling. According to different antenna structure,different basis functions are chosen. The triangle basis function and the RWG vector basis function are used in the line and the surface structures. Based on the analysis of the traditional line surface basis function expression, a new kind of basis function is deduced for the line-surface structure. The description of the antenna thickness is increased in the new function. It effectively solves the shortcomings of the great errors when using the traditional basis function to analyze the coarse antenna. Based on this, the line-surface shape antenna impedance matrix and the calculation method of scattering field are given. Finally the correctness of the algorithm is verified through the analysis of monopole antenna in limited plane and arbitrary angle butterfly antenna.
