    Microwave Holographic Imaging Algorithm Based on Two-Frequency

    • To avoid the limitation of the single-frequency imaging algorithm in range resolution, a two-frequency microwave holographic imaging algorithm is presented. In this algorithm, the target is illuminated by two close frequencies rather than single frequency. The range resolution can be improved by the utilization of Gaussian phase information. The range aliasing effect appears in single-frequency imaging can also be weakened. The Matlab software is used for the performance simulation of this two-frequency imaging algorithm. Furthermore, position jitter is added in space sampling to evaluate the robustness of this algorithm with non-ideal spatial scanning factors in target imaging. The experiment is also carried out. The results verify the efficiency of the two-frequency imaging algorithm and also show that the interference between two closely placed targets can be reduced and the range aliasing effect can be weakened by using the two-frequency imaging algorithm.
