Arbitrarily Three-Dimensional Non-conformal Ellipsoidal Invisible Cloak

Abstract
Up to now, most of the studies were focused on the invisible cloak conformal with inner and outer boundaries. Based on the idea of linear coordinate transformation, arbitrarily three-dimensional non-conformal ellipsoidal invisible cloak were proposed and designed. The general formulations of the inhomogeneous and anisotropic constitutive tensors of the cloak were derived for the non-conformal ellipsoidal cloak. According to the constitutive tensors, the results of full-wave simulations by using finite-element software confirmed the validity of the constitutive parameter tensor expressions, for different types of electromagnetic wave under the irradiation of different geometric parameters of non-conformal ellipsoidal cloak. This work is more flexible and more suitable for the practical application, and also provides a feasible way to fabricate invisible cloak in the future.
