Study of Parallel Scheme Applicable to Analyze Electromagnetic-ray Propagation in Urban Environment on Domestic Heterogeneous Supercomputer

Abstract
Based on the super computer platform “Sunway Taihu-Light”system, this paper studies an efficient parallel computation of the uniform geometry diffraction theory method suitable for the domestic multi-core architecture. The givenmethod can be applied to calculate electromagnetic ray propagation and electromagnetic potential distribution in urban environment with high efficiency. Referred to 260 heterogeneous cores, the parallel efficiency on 4160 heterogeneous cores reaches over 99%. Numerical results show that the method can be applied on super computer platform with multi-core structure to safely and efficiently perform electromagnetic propagation prediction in urban areas.
