Design of Wireless Power Transmission Antenna Adapted to Multi-Angle Incidence

    • In order to improve the wireless energy transmission efficiency of implantable equipment under multi-angle incidence, an incidence insensitive implantable metamaterial antenna for midfield wireless energy transmission technology is proposed. The antenna works at 1. 4 GHz. The stomach simulation environment is built, and the energy transmission performance of the antenna at different incident angles is evaluated in the simulated tissue. The simulation analysis shows that when the implanted antenna rotates along the x, y and z axes for one cycle, S21 in more than 97% of the angle range reaches more than -37 dB, and the difference of S21 value at each angle is only 1-4 dB. It is verified that the antenna is insensitive to the incident angle, and the maximum specific absorption rate meets the IEEE standard. The experimental results show that the measured results are in good agreement with the simulation results. The overall design achieves the expected goal and is suitable for wireless energy transmission technology in the field of biomedicine.
