Abstract
The interference between the same frequency beams of multi-beam antennas in High Throughput Satellite (HTS) is usually characterized by Carrier to Interference Power Ratio (C/ I) of antenna. Improving the C/ I performance of antenna is one of the ways to obtain higher communication capacity. In this paper, a frequency reuse optimization design for multi-beam antenna is proposed to solve the contradiction between C/ I performance and frequency planning. In the optimization process, the frequency allocation strategy of the same frequency beams is taken as the optimization variable, and then the genetic algorithm is used to optimize it to achieve higher C/ I performance. Finally, an example is given to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the optimization algorithm.
