Abstract
The Clos network structure is applied to the 4×4 full switch matrix for the first time, and the low temperature cofired ceramic (LTCC) and double-pole, double-throw switch chips are integrated by multi-chip module technology. The full switching function in a simpler topology is realized, and the shortcomings of the traditional single-pole, four-throw scheme with a large number of interfaces and complex wiring are overcome. The LTCC multilayer stacking process and specific chip interface are combined to realize feasible stacking structure and interconnection scheme. On this basis, C-band 4×4 switch matrix with excellent standing wave, good channel consistency and high isolation is developed. The implementation is simple and reliable, and is suitable for other forms or higher frequency switch matrix design.
