    L-band Miniaturized Multi-channel Front-end of Integrated Self-test Source

    • For the front-end module of the L-band radio frequency (RF) system, on the basis of completing the amplification and filtering function, it also needs to have the function of generating self-test signals and the ability to communicate with the host computer. In order to meet the requirements of modern social development for equipment with complete functions, small size and light weight, a multi-channel RF front-end with integrated self-test source is developed by selecting a small integrated frequency hopping source, integrating digital control, interface circuit and microwave control circuit, and integrating self-test signal divider with microwave control circuit. On the basis of ensuring the original RF front-end amplification and filtering function, generating self-test signal function, and communicating with the host computer, the volume and weight of the RF front-end are greatly reduced. Through physical production and testing, it is verified that the above design method can greatly reduce the overall module volume and weight while ensuring the functional integrity of multi-channel RF front-end.
